THE WINE
The fruit from the 2021 ‘Sfera’ Tempranillo was harvested from our Block 9. Machine harvested at night to retain freshness, before haulage to the winery.
Whole berry fermented with natural yeasts from the vineyard. This Tempranillo spent 6 days on skins enhancing the depth of natural tannin. Cherries and blackberries glide through the mid palate with a fresh hint of pomegranate bringing life to the wine!
The 2021 Tempranillo is more vibrant and bright than some of the old world counterparts - true to the Wirrega style!
Pair with BBQ Kangaroo fillet with a plum sauce.
